1. Who we are and the scope of this policy
Warsha Academy is a digital learning platform for children, available through warsha.ma and the Warsha app on compatible devices. This policy covers the family account, child profiles, interactive lessons, progress reports and Warsha support services.
The parent or guardian is responsible for creating the family account, adding the child’s profile and choosing a suitable program and level.
2. Data we collect
Family and account data
- Parent or guardian’s name, WhatsApp phone number and secure login data.
- Information the family sends when contacting support or using WhatsApp.
- Order or payment data when purchasing a program, to the extent needed to manage access and serve the family.
Child and learning data
- Display name, school grade or level, and birth year.
- Lessons started or completed, answers, results, mastery, hints and review counts.
- The child’s choices within the learning experience, such as the companion character or pathway preferences.
Limited technical data
- Session cookies needed to log in, remember the selected child and protect the parent area.
- IP address, browser type, error logs and usage times for security and service improvement.
3. How and why we use data
- Create accounts, verify phone numbers and secure access.
- Provide suitable lessons and save progress, answers and reviews.
- Show understandable reports to parents and improve learning recommendations.
- Respond to support, activation and contact requests from the family.
- Detect unlawful use, resolve errors and protect the platform.
- Improve content and the interface using aggregated metrics whenever possible.
We do not sell family or child data, or use the child’s learning data to create personalized advertisements targeting them.
4. Children’s privacy and the role of parents
Warsha is designed for learning with a parent or guardian’s guidance and responsibility. The responsible adult creates the account, adds children, subscribes and manages data.
- The child area shows only educational content and necessary progress information.
- Family and account-management information is kept in a protected parent area.
- There is no public leaderboard revealing the child’s name or score.
- We encourage families to use the parent PIN when handing the device to a child.
6. Data retention and account deletion
We retain account and learning data for as long as needed to provide the service, track progress, resolve disputes and meet legal and accounting obligations. After a deletion request and identity verification, we delete or anonymize data within 30 days, unless the law requires a limited portion to be kept longer.
Necessary financial records, deletion requests and limited security logs may be kept for the legally required period. Aggregated statistics not linked to a family or child’s identity may be retained to improve learning.
7. Family rights
After identity verification, the parent or guardian may request:
- Information about data linked to the family account.
- Correction or updating of inaccurate information.
- Deletion of the account, child profiles and associated progress.
- Objection to unnecessary communications or withdrawal of optional consent.
8. Security and policy changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including temporary-code verification, protected sessions, restricted staff permissions, backups and monitoring. No system is completely secure, so we continuously review protection and act when a risk is detected.
We may update this policy when the service or our obligations change. We will show the last update date and provide an appropriate notice of material changes on the platform or through the registered contact method.
9. Privacy contact
For questions or access, correction or deletion requests, contact Warsha Academy and mention that your request concerns privacy.
