Before your child starts

  1. Introduce the complex sound through two words and a picture before explaining the rule.
  2. Let the child underline the letter group that produces the sound.
  3. For rereading, choose one goal: accuracy, pauses or intonation.
  4. Arabic instructions are intentional: the aim is to assess French reading, not understanding instructions.
