Before your child starts

  1. Read the instructions in Arabic and let the child listen to, pronounce and read French.
  2. Say the sound, not only the letter name: m = /m/ in maman.
  3. Use the picture to check meaning and sometimes cover it to prevent guessing.
  4. Split the worksheet into three short sessions without asking for every word to be translated.
